I took this picture at night (with just a little flourecent lighting). In order to keep the exposure time as low as possible (to Freeze THE Moment) I shot at 6400 ISO. Here is an overview of my camera settings:

  • Body: Canon EOS 550D
  • Lense: Canon 50 mm, F/1.8 fixed focal length
  • Exposure time: 1/200 sec.
  • Aperture: F/1.8
  • ISO: 6400

Furthermore, I did some selective noise reduction using frequency separation in Photoshop. Here is the original image before noise reduction:
